Day 1: 14/12/2011

So after 21 hours in the air and around 30 hours travel door to door, i finally made it to  a mates place in Wandsworth. It's a suburb about 15-20minutes train from the centre of London and it is freezing!
I have also found out that all of Wandsworth play a game called hide the street sign for the foreigners. Where there should be a street sign, there are signs leading you to points of interest, leaving the actual street names to be tucked around a corner in hard to find places. Sadly for me, at 6am this morning, Paul Schaffers place wasn't a big enough place of interest for it to have its own signs, forcing me to search continually for where the street signs were hidden this time.
For the rest of the day myself and Phil Wylie plan to go into London to have a shop and a look around. Then this afternoon when Schaffer gets back from work we'll have a night out in London with another English mate that also did a stint at Sydney Uni, no idea exactly where we plan to go but I'm sure something will be on :)
